Oversees and manages design engineers and CAD technicians 2. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training new employees, as well scheduling and assigning areas of work Summary: The Civil Project Manager will assume responsibility of structural steel design projects, assist the sales team with pricing and quotes, and manage other engineers/designers throughout the design and production phase. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: 1. Work with sales team to develop pricing plans and quotes for customers, and plan and maintain schedules for assigned projects 2. Oversee Civil Engineers/CAD Designers during the design phase, which will include the design of structural steel beams, connections and bracing, and determine load calculations according to application 3. Design and implement testing parameters for new product design and development 4. Work with members of production and field teams to analyze test data, and develop creative engineering solutions to problems and failures Specific Tool/Process Experience Required: 1. Proficiency with AutoCAD and other design software, as well as knowledge of MS Office Education/Experience: 1.
