Some overtime expected % Travel: N/A Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production and facilities equipment. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: • Perform preventative maintenance on industrial production equipment • Install new equipment • Perform troubleshooting and repair on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems • Use lathes and other machining equipment to fabricate and make repairs to machine parts and tooling when necessary Qualifications/Background Required: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Excellent industrial electrical skills including ability to install and troubleshoot PLCs, AC/DC drives, electrical wiring • Excellent mechanical skills including ability to troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, pumps, and other related equipment • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems • Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints/schematics • Additional knowledge and ability to work on auxiliary equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts would be very beneficial, but not required • Must be able to use basic hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment • Must be able to pass electrical and mechanical testing administered by the company.
