Perform onsite testing/verification/startup and after sales support. Provide training to end users and respond to support calls. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: 1. Install, start-up, performance test, customer train, troubleshoot, and maintain CCC’s UV, UV/OX, Odor Control, and ISEP equipment lines at sites throughout the US and Canada with other international travel. These are automated units with electrical, controls, and mechanical aspects. 2. As needed, provide inside support for customers and other Controls Engineers who telephone with troubleshooting, parts identification, and other questions 3. Establish and maintain customer relationships and satisfaction in order to grow customer loyalty and increase value of CCC Field Services to the customer. 4. Electrical circuits, control loops, instrumentation, and mechanical problems. Familiar with PLC 5. Provide feedback on equipment issues to the mechanical and electrical design teams using the FSWO database. Qualifications/Background Required: 1. Looking for self motivated, autonomous individuals not afraid of travel. Need to have good basic troubleshooting experience, ability and desire to travel extensively – able to have contingency plans if something goes wrong. 2. Need to know technical drawings and schematics, the ability to understand the basics of PLC i.e. what controllers do, how a line of code in PLC effects a circuit/switch etc….Will be traveling extensively 75% of the time – onsite would be roughly 6 hours of work 1 hour of prep and 1 hour of cleanup. While not in the field will perform final test/verification at local facility. 3. Need to be comfortable with software/ communicating on the phone with engineers/ using laptops, cell phone, digital camera in troubleshooting. Must be safety oriented – dealing with 600V and up to 1200V on some systems, 3 –phase high power. 4. Ability to independently coordinate and implement day-to-day field service duties within field services and cross-functionally with project management and sales. 5. No shotgun troubleshooters– need to be able to follow symptoms along to locate a problem. 6. Prefer Pittsburgh, but will also considering surrounding areas or those who can reasonably relo themselves to commutable distance. 7. Must have knowledge of test and test procedures in complex electrical systems. 8. Must have willingness to travel extensively. Must have strong initiative and self discipline. Specific Tool/Process Experience Required: 1. Experience troubleshooting electrical systems in manufacturing or facilities environment preferred 2. Experience in test, verification, training, failure analysis, root cause studies and documentation preferred. Physical Requirements: 1.
