Job Description	NSTAR Global Services Job Description Check out our website at www.nstarsearch.com, and browse for more open jobs at http://www.nstarsearch.com/jobs.htm Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Installation Team Job Type: Permanent Placement Reports To (Title): Engineering Manager Compensation Range: $47,000-$51,000 Other Compensation: incentive compensation plan, a profit-sharing plan, and a 401(K) plan with automatic company contributions Position Location: Albuquerque, NM # Positions open: 3 Hours of Work: rotating/compressed shift coverage, night shift coverage, paid off-hour work and on-call duties % Travel: 60-80% Summary: Will support step-and-repeat system (scanner), a photolithographic tool used to image submicron geometries onto silicon wafers for the manufacture of integrated circuits. The Stepper consists of a superior optical system coupled to a precise laser alignment system. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: 1. Setup and cabling of lithography equipment according to company specifications 2. Working closely with the Team Leads and providing detailed daily activity reports 3. Developing technical skills by working with Team leads and senior FSE’s to achieve a high level of knowledge in all aspects of the set up process 4. Working in a professional manner with other team members and customers to ensure a smooth flow of daily operations 5. Identify current and potential problems and find long term solutions by working with Team Leads and other Field Service Engineers 6. Comply with all safety standards, assembly procedures and documentation Qualifications/Background Required: 1. BSEE, BSME or equivalent work experience 2. Willing to travel nationally and internationally for 60% to 80% of the time. 3. Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends 4. Good communication skills 5. Ability to work in a high stress environment 6. Ability to work independently and in team settings 7. Valid Driver’s License Required 8. Frequently bends, stoops, twists, turns, and work in unusual positions to move or position objects weighing up to 100 pounds when setting up equipment (assistance available when lifting items over 50 lbs). Will be working from ladders and/or scaffolding Physical Requirements: 1. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. 2. Must be able to bend, crawl, and work in cramp spaces 3. Must be able stand for long periods of time Other Desired Qualifications: 1. Knowledge of high power, high vacuum systems 2. Knowledge of optics and fine component calibration 3. Strong troubleshooting capabilities, analytical method to solving technical problems. Education/Experience: 1.
