Job Description	TW-1055 Proposal Writer - Staff - Camarillo, CA (Local Candidates Only) Salary: BOE A fixed income management firm seeks a motivated, experienced and dedicated person to join them. This is full-time staff position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The proposal writer will manage the firm’s responses to request for proposals (RFPs) for investment management services. This position also involves drafting client and consultant communications and completing responses to questionnaires and requests for information. This position will work with portfolio management, client service, compliance, operations and legal staff to manage and complete responses. In addition, the proposal writer will perform the following key functions: o. Qualify RFPs with regard to the firm’s strategies and service capabilities, account minimums and legal guidelines. o. Manage the consultant questionnaire reporting process, which includes maintaining and updating databases of internal questionnaire and proposal responses. o. Work with compliance personnel to ensure SEC compliance of all communications and questionnaires. o. Draft text that describes investment strategies as well as promotional copy for use in marketing materials. o. Review various printed materials to ensure that copy complies with corporate standards, effectively communicates desired message and meets project specifications; review copy for accuracy, completeness and grammar. o. Assist with reviewing and editing of quarterly papers. Requirements: o. 5+ years of proposal writing experience in the asset management or investment industry (Required) o.
